Sam Kay is a Stop Motion and 2-D Animator, currently based out of Portland, Oregon. Sam most recently worked for CJS Workshop as a freelance Production Coordinator. While there she built and implemented the studio's workflow and production management tracking system.

An avid traveler and lover of language, Sam has culled a unique skill-set through several professional experiences. These include Assistant Animator, Puppet Fabrication Intern, Puppet Wrangler, ESL Instructor, and Pre-K - 12 Visual Arts Educator. Sam has lived on the East and West Coasts of the United States as well as in Beijing, China.

These different career tracks have given Sam a unique and culturally open mind-set on collaboration, an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and have instilled a passion of sharing art and ideas. Sam is excited to continue to be a part of the 2-D and stop motion animation industries.
